Debriefing: A Key Step in Your MSF Journey
Debriefing is a critical part of the MSF process. Whether informal or formal, a structured debrief helps you:
Unpack your feedback in a supportive environment
Compare self-assessment with colleague and patient perspectives
Reflect on your results and takeaways
Identify opportunities for growth and improvement
We recommend completing your debrief session shortly after receiving your MSF report, ideally with a trusted colleague, supervisor or mentor trained in the process.
You’ll learn more about this in the dedicated Debriefing videos under resources, with more coming soon to the CFEP Academy.
